Live Concert: Viva Gaia
Viva Gaia Street Band (Viva Gaia Carnivale) is a multicultural explosion of music and dance, a kaleidoscope of colors, costumes, rhythm and movement. Their style is rooted in traditional rhythms of equatorial regions from the Caribbean steel drum, to PanAfrican jazz and percussion indigenous to world music. Our colony of artists represents world cultures giving the music a contemporary feel, but it invokes a connection to traditions “far away”.

The Birthday Bash takes place at multiple areas around the Park including The Allen & Company Family Lawn, The AgAmerica Heritage Gardens, and the Nature Pathway, between Mable the Mosaic Owl and the Ann and Ward Edwards Boathouse. The Florida Children’s Museum and the Children’s Resource Center also have special birthday programming. Follow the Lakeland Regional Health Circulator, and you will see the various activities taking place around the Park.
All ages are welcome to enjoy the BSP Birthday festivities.
Parking on-site at BSP is first come, first serve. Overflow parking will also be available outside the Park. We encourage you to plan ahead to determine the best route for you and your family.
No. The park and event are free and open to the public!
BSP accepts all major credit cards and contactless payments (tap to pay). There are two reverse ATMs or “cash to card” machines also available for guests, at the Hollis Family Welcome Center and The Depot Cafe, located near the Florida Children's Museum.
You can visit The Depot Cafe for lunch or dinner, located across from the Florida Children’s Museum, and The Coffee Shop at the Welcome Center will be open until 6pm.
We will also have several food trucks at the Family Lawn, as well as BSP’s mobile vending carts selling snacks and beverages around the Park. Be sure to bring your credit/debit card, enabled tap to pay device, or visit one of our reverse ATM (“cash to card” machines) located at the Welcome Center or the Depot before making your way toward the event location.
Please see our General Park Rules for items that will not be permitted in the Park.
For the safety of our vendors and animal ambassadors, pets will not be allowed in the event spaces. We kindly ask that you keep pets at home for this event.
From 9AM-4PM the complimentary Ride with Regal trams will have stops located along the Circulator. After 4PM the trams will switch to traveling on Bonnet Springs Boulevard, with a stop at the Florida Children’s Museum and the overflow parking area to give guests a ride from parking lots to the Family Lawn and back.
