Honor and celebrate the incredible achievements of Black pioneers in space exploration and research. Join Bonnet Springs Park in the GiveWell Community Foundation Nature Center on February 15 from 10AM – 12PM to learn about scientists such as Dr. Mae Jemison, the first Black woman in space, and Mary W. Jackson, NASA’s first Black female engineer. Discover their contributions to science and space exploration while celebrating diversity and resilience. This event is open to guests of all ages with adult supervision.
