Did you know that bonsai trees symbolize patience, harmony, and tradition? Join us to explore the cultural and history significance of transitional horticultural practices to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month at the GiveWell Community Foundation Nature Center from 10AM – 12PM. Learn about the art of bonsai, discover different types of seeds used in cultivation, and create your own bonsai-inspired craft to take home! This event is open to guests of all ages with adult supervision.
