The highest mountain known to man is on an asteroid called Vesta, measuring a whopping 22 kilometers in height, which is three times as tall as Mount Everest! Join us at the Ann & Ward Edwards Boathouse from 6 – 8PM to set your sights on the cosmos during a kid-focused stargazing experience with Sidewalk Science Center and the Florida Children’s Museum. Programming is geared towards younger learners in grades K-8; guests of all ages are welcome! This event will occur rain or shine with space-themed activities available if inclement weather impacts telescope use.
