Monarch Monitoring Blitz_Event Cover_Final

Calling all monarch butterfly lovers! Join BSP for a Park-wide volunteer day!

On Saturday, August 3rd from 8 – 10AM, numerous roles will be open for volunteers looking to participate in the International Monarch Monitoring Blitz. The Monarch Monitoring Blitz invites community scientists to come together to help protect and preserve the monarch butterfly. During the blitz, volunteers will look for eggs, caterpillars, adult butterflies, and plants the monarchs gravitate towards. This data will be used to help scientists better understand the breeding, range, and productivity of the monarch species.
