Did you know that the first modern battery was created by Alessandro Volta in 1798? Join us at the GiveWell Community Foundation Nature Center from 10AM – 12PM with our friends from the American Chemical Society to participate in “Chemistry Celebrates Earth Week!” Guests of all ages, with adult supervision, will be able to experience a variety of activity stations that explore the world of batteries through interactive demonstrations.

About Our Vendor: American Chemical Society is a non-profit scientific organization that aims to improve all people’s lives through the transforming power of chemistry. ACS has been an active part of science education since 1876.
