Sensory-Friendly Exploration Station

Sensory-Friendly Exploration Station

Did you know camouflage can also be referred to as cryptic coloration? Plants and animals use fascinating adaptations to disguise their appearance and blend into their surroundings. Join our Sensory-Friendly Exploration Station on October 17 from 2 – 4PM, at the GiveWell Community Foundation Nature Center, where we will discover camouflage and mimicry of Florida native animals in an inclusive, hands-on environment. During this sensory-friendly program, guests will have the opportunity to practice their scientific observation skills and practice camouflage! This free event is open to guests of all ages with adult supervision.

This event has been canceled due to the impact of Hurricane Milton. Please stay tuned to our social media channels for a reschedule date.
