STEM in the Park

Green It Up with WEDU in this hands-on program designed for both English and Spanish-speaking children ages 3-8 inspired by the PBS programs Cyberchase and Elinor Wonders Why. On Saturday, July 22 from 10AM-12PM, join us in the Nature Center Classroom for FREE activities that will inspire a deep appreciation for nature, build STEM skills, and help kids feel empowered to care for the planet by taking action in their communities.

In addition to two age-appropriate activities, an English and Spanish Summer Activity Booklet will be provided for families to complete at home. No registration is needed. All participating children must be accompanied by an adult.

Trae el Verde con WEDU el cual es un programa práctico en inglés y español diseñado para niños de 3 a 8 años inspirado en los programas de PBS Cyberchase y Elinor Wonders Why. El Sábado 22 de Julio de 10 a.m a 12 p.m. Únase a nosotros en el salón del Centro de la Naturaleza para actividades GRATUITAS que inspirarán un profundo aprecio por la naturalez y desarrollarán habilidades STEM que ayudarán a los niños a sentirse empoderados para cuidar el planeta al tomar medidas en sus comunidades. Además de dos actividades apropiadas para la edad, se proporcionará un folleto de actividades de verano en inglés y español para que las familias lo completen en casa. No es necesario registrarse. Todos los niños participantes deben ir acompañados de un adulto.
