Time to catch some turkeys! Did you know Florida is home to two species of turkeys? Join Bonnet Springs Park at the GiveWell Community Nature Center from 10AM – 12PM to develop a greater understanding of model-making and engineering while learning about Florida’s wild turkeys. Guests will read the book “How to Catch a Turkey” by Adam Wallace and Andy Elkerton and create a model of a turkey trap with the help of Florida Polytechnic University students. BSP has partnered with The Junior League of Lakeland to give free books away to participants while supplies last. This event is open to guests of all ages with adult supervision.
