Wild plants have been used in medicine as far back as archaeologists have studied human behavior. Join us at the GiveWell Community Foundation Nature Center from 9 – 11AM as part of our BSP Summer Naturalist program to explore how plants can be used as wilderness medicine. Guests will have opportunities to learn about modern medical uses of wild plants, test your sensory skills to match aromatherapy oils with their plant origins, and take away a kit to create your own chamomile hand balm. This activity is open to guests of all ages with adult supervision.
