Calling all teachers! Join us on September 16 from 9AM – 3PM at BSP’s Givewell Community Foundation Nature Center Classroom for a hands-on workshop geared towards Florida educators who work with students in grades K-12.
Project WILD is an interdisciplinary conservation and environmental education program that focuses on wildlife and habitat. The goal of Project WILD is to develop awareness, knowledge, skills, and commitment resulting in informed decisions, responsible behavior, and constructive actions concerning wildlife and the environment.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission sponsors the cost of materials in cooperation with Bonnet Springs Park so there is only a $5 cost for attendees!
*This workshop is open to educators of all kinds who work to increase our community’s scientific literacy. Note that participants must be able to walk .25 miles from the nearest parking lot to reach our event space, and are expected to bring their own snacks/lunch.
