Help Make This Dream a Reality

Donate to Bonnet Springs Park

A seed of an idea, planted and nurtured by community leaders possessing both vision and a desire to create a lasting legacy, Bonnet Springs Park will be a place for everyone. A place where art, recreation, fun, and tranquility intersect by design.

Bonnet Springs is more than just a Park: it is a place to connect and reconnect with nature and with community; a place where children and adults alike can escape from the present to explore our City’s history; a place where you can engage with nature in a refreshing, tranquil setting.

Bonnet Springs Park is a private sector endeavor that, once successful, will result in a public asset. This is an ambitious project, and one which we are confident will serve as a model for other communities to emulate.

We are actively looking for individuals to join in growing this vision to reality. We have successfully raised more than 70% of the funds needed to present our community with the gift of Bonnet Springs Park. We invite you to join us in this bigger mission to reconnect our community with history, with nature, and with each other.

Bonnet Springs Park: a place to Escape. Engage. Explore.

Co-Chairs

Welcome to Bonnet Springs Park!
Welcome! We’re excited you’re taking a virtual tour of Bonnet Springs Park, and look forward to celebrating the grand opening of this world-class park with you in Spring 2021.

Made possible through a generous gift by the Barnett Family, Bonnet Springs Park is located on 180 acres within walking distance of downtown Lakeland. This privately funded, public urban park will be the new home of the Explorations V Children’s Museum, provide space for both large and small events, and will offer several cultural and recreational opportunities for more than a million visitors a year to enjoy.

Bonnet Springs Park will be the jewel of Central Florida - a place for our community to come together in a tranquil retreat. The estimated cost of creating and maintaining this transformational park is $110 million, of which 70% has already been committed. A capital campaign is underway to raise the balance, with hundreds of dedicated volunteers working to make this goal a reality.

Join us! There are multiple levels of giving opportunities from $50 to $5 million, which includes a number of naming opportunities for major gifts.

We invite you to join us on this journey to create Bonnet Springs Park, and make it possible for friends and families to create endless memories at the park for generations to come.
