Terrarium Workshop led by Kathryn Palmerton
Instructor-Led Enclosed Terrarium Class
Participants build a sealed, self-sustaining terrarium while learning the principles of soil layering, moisture cycling, and ecosystem balance. The workshop includes a guided demonstration, step-by-step build, and care discussion. Attendees leave with a functioning mini ecosystem and a clear understanding of how closed terrariums replicate natural cycles.

Tumbled Glass Windchime Workshop
The Glass Elemental, a stained glass studio located within the Depot Arts District of Lakeland, is known for their “Sustainably Sourced, Mythically Made” glass artwork and classes. Join Carley, the Studio Artist, at her Bloom workshop to craft your own tumbled glass wind chime using reclaimed glass from larger studio projects. Artists will be encouraged to mix glass colors and textures to complement their preferences and home decor before assembling their wind chime with guidance from Carley.

Moss Art Workshop
Preserved Moss Frame Wall Art
Guests will select a thrifted/vintage frame and select from a variety of preserved mosses & dried foliage/floral components to assemble a unique moss art work. They will leave with a completed frame. This craft focuses on sustainability in the thrifted base as well as preserved moss as the earth born subject matter.

Painted Bouquet Workshop
Watercolor Floral Bouquet Participants will leave with their own flat floral bouquet made up of flowers and foliage they chose and hand painted, wrapped in their choice of bouquet paper.

FAQs
When and where is the Bloom at BSP event taking place at Bonnet Springs Park?
April 11 – 12 from 10AM – 2PM each day
Located inside Bonnet Springs Park. The Bloom event path begins near the Event Center and Harrell Family Greenhouse.
Where do I park?
Parking on-site at BSP is first come, first serve. Overflow parking will also be available outside the Park. We encourage you to plan ahead to determine the best route for you and your family. Rideshare is encouraged.
Is there an admission fee to enter the Park or participate in Bloom at BSP?
No. The park and event are free and open to the public!
What forms of payment are accepted at the Park?
BSP accepts all major credit cards and contactless payments (tap to pay). There are two reverse ATMs or “cash to card” machines also available for guests, at the Hollis Family Welcome Center and The Depot Cafe, located near the Florida Children’s Museum.
What type of food and drinks will be available?
BSP’s mobile vending carts will be selling snacks and beverages. Be sure to bring your credit/debit card, enabled tap to pay device, or visit one of our reverse ATM (“cash to card” machines) located at the Welcome Center or the Depot before making your way toward the event location.
You can also visit The Depot Cafe for lunch, located across from the Florida Children’s Museum, and The Coffee Shop at the Welcome Center during Park hours.
What can I bring?
Please see our General Park Rules for items that will not be permitted in the Park.
Can I bring my pet?
For the safety of our vendors and animal ambassadors, pets will not be allowed along the Bloom at BSP Trail. Guests are welcome to bring their leashed dogs to other areas of the park throughout the week.
How do I get around the Park?
The complimentary Ride with Regal trams will have stops located along the Circulator for your convenience across the sprawling 168-acre Park! Trams will be running continuously.
