Spring Break at BSP

The BSP Express is full STEAM ahead! Join us March 13-17 for Spring Break at the Park!

*Supervision of children is required. Please do not plan on dropping off your children as we want the whole family to enjoy this experience!

Join us Monday - Friday from 10am - 2pm! With a different theme each day, there is something for every member of the family to enjoy. This fun filled event is FREE so mark your calendars and be ready to explore the incredible world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math)!

The Full STEAM Ahead Trail will be located along the pathway between Mable the Mosaic Owl and the Ann and Ward Edwards Boathouse. Once you arrive at the park, follow the Lakeland Regional Health Circulator to either Mable the Mosaic Owl or the GiveWell Community Foundation Nature Center, and your family will be able to see and hear the Full STEAM Ahead Trail from there!

Drone flights will run every 15 minutes with a 30 min break at 11:30AM. Drone technology is reaching new heights and can be used for a wide range of needs, like monitoring wildfires and capturing video footage as new buildings are built. Learn From a Surveyor!

Learn about the world of land surveying with professional surveyors from Chastain-Skillman. Participants will have the ability to learn about the equipment used for surveys, the methods used for collecting data, and how CS surveyors conducted a tree survey for Bonnet Springs Park.
