Join us at the Jack and Tina Harrell Family Greenhouse from 2 - 4PM to learn about the life cycle of plants, tour the state-of-the-art greenhouse, and plant your very own sunflower seed to take home. Mind, Body, Movement: Tai Chi led by Satya Life Yoga

Join us as we celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month with Satya Life Yoga and embrace the peaceful relaxation of Tai Chi on Saturday, May 11th from 8 - 9AM! Take this time to connect with the essence of ancient practices amidst a tranquil setting on our family lawn!

Polynesian Celebration

Aloha, Lakeland! Join us on Friday, May 17th from 6 - 9PM to celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month at Bonnet Springs Park with Uso's Polynesian Entertainment! Immerse yourself in the beauty of Fiji, Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand, Tonga, and Samoa through lively dances, captivating performances, and delicious food.

Classroom Drop-In

Carp kites are flown throughout Japan to celebrate Kodomo no Hi, an annual Children's Day celebration. Join us at the GiveWell Community Foundation Nature Center Classroom from 2 - 4PM to create your very own carp kite with your family! This event is open to guests of all ages with adult supervision.

STEM in the Park with Pathfinder Outdoor Education

Take your adventurous spirit to new heights in this free, guided tree climb near the Nature Center led by Pathfinder Outdoor Education from 9AM – 2PM! Their trained staff will assist you in rigging up, ascending one of the pre-placed climbing lines, and seeing trees in a way you never have before. Registration will occur on-site on a first come, first served basis. Participants must check in 15-minutes before their assigned climbing time and sign a safety waiver. Want to climb but all spots are full? BSP has two other nearby trees that are perfect for independent climbing and will also have a variety of family-friendly lawn games, including a mobile rock-climbing tower, for the whole family to enjoy!

Adventure Days

It's time to celebrate the start of summer! Join us near the GiveWell Community Foundation Nature Center on Monday, May 27 from 10AM - 2PM for our "Water & Wild Things" party with our friends from Big Idea Entertainment, Bella's Little Farm, and Dino-Digs! Activities include a petting zoo, a fossil dig trailer, lawn games, music, and water tag! All activities are perfect for guests of all ages with adult supervision.
